Toronto FC will host Nashville SC in a Major League Soccer match on Sunday. Both teams are on opposite halves of the Eastern Conference table with Nashville second and Toronto 12th. Toronto have found the going tough again and currently find themselves outside of the playoff places. They have played 17 matches and are on 18 points, five points adrift of direct playoff qualification. The Reds have struggled to win matches and have managed only three wins while suffering defeat nine times. They however come to this match unbeaten in their last three fixtures and drew 1-1 with Minnesota United last time out. Bob Bradley’s charges have managed just two wins from their last 10 matches across all competitions. They have lost five times in this run. But having gone four matches without defeat against Nashville, they will be confident of success here. Toronto have won twice in those four matches and drew 0-0 in the first meeting of the season in April.

Nashville have also had their fair share of victories in this matchup. They have claimed two wins in the six matches the two teams have played thus far with one of those victories coming away. Considering this as well as their current form, Gary Smith’s charges will head out confident of securing all the spoils. Nashville have won eight of their last 10 matches including the last two with the latest being a 2-1 success away to Dallas. The win, their ninth of the season in 16 matches, moved them to 31 points, eight points off the pace.
