World number 261 Ena Shibahara will play 465th ranked Tara Wurth in the final qualifying round at the Prague Open. The winner here will seal a place in the main draw. This is the very first match between Shibahara and Wurth and we take a look at the stats then offer a prediction.

Wurth defeated Priscilla Hon in straight sets to start off her quest for a main draw appearance here. She allowed the fifth seed in this qualifier eight games in their first-ever showdown. The German will hope for the same intensity as she eyes the main draw at tour level for only the second time.

Wurth has had a shaky season, only winning four more matches than the 14 she has lost. She has predominantly competed in the ITF circuit where she won a title in Zagreb.

Ena Shibahara is a strong hard-court player compared to Wurth and will be confident of progressing to the main draw. She registered 27 of the 32 wins she has managed this year on hardcourts which has resulted in an ITF title.

The Japanese player has also experienced more success in qualifying for the main draw at tour level than Wurth. Her most recent such feat was in Nottingham a month ago. Shibahara endured a tough first round in Prague qualifying; against Dejana Radanovic who took the first set 6-0 and forced a tiebreaker in the third.

Despite the win, Shibahara has dropped two places in the live ranking and is now 257th.
