Sweden vs Hungary Prediction & Betting Tips - Handball World Championship

Sweden look to strengthen their position at the top of this main round group with a win over Hungary. They are one of the co-hosts of this 2023 Men's World Handball Championships and have won all their game so far. Sweden finished top of preliminary round Group C with three wins out of three and a +50 goal difference.  Wins came against Brazil and Cape Verde before a whopping 47-12 demolition job on Uruguay wtth Eric Johansson scoring 11 goals. That's seen them take four points into the main round and one more win in this game or against Iceland or Portugal should see them comfortably into the quarter finals. They are the current European champions and go into this match looking for an eighth win in a row.

Hungary qualified for the main round by finishing third in Group D. They had wins over Iceland and South Korea and the win over the Icelandic team saw them carry two points into this main round group. None for the South Korea win as they didn't qualify. They are fourth in this main round group and after this match take on Brazil and Cape Verde. Although a win over Sweden is unlikely, they definitely have a great chance of winning the next two and finishing second to qualify for the quarter finals. Hungary have only lost two of their last nine games but it's Sweden who can get the win here on a -3 handicap, especially with home advantage.
