Local rivals Swansea City and Cardiff City meet at the Swansea.com stadium on Saturday(12.30pm kick off) very much in contrasting form. Swans head coach Luke Williams has seen his team struggle for consistency this season, especially at home where they have one of the poorest records in the Championship leaving them languishing in 15th place in the table. Two wins, two defeats and a draw in their last five games sums up a frustrating campaign for the Swans who come into the game without a win in two after a 1-1 draw away at Watford followed by a 1-0 defeat away to Bristol City at the weekend. The Swans have just three wins in their last ten games and have kept just one clean sheet in that period. 

Those figures will make pleasant reading for Cardiff City fans as they make the short trip down the south Wales coast to their neighbours. Erol Bulut's team have hit a good run of form of late, winning all of their last four Championship games to lie 11th in the table, ten points ahead of their opponents today and just five points off the final playoff place held currently by Norwich City. The Bluebirds have scored six goals in those four previous wins, but have conceded just two goals. in their last five games as they have shored up defensively. This fixture has a long history of low-scoring games and only one team scoring and that does look like being the case on Saturday lunchtime once again.
