On their day Stoke City can just about beat anyone, especially at home. Already this season they have twice beaten Chelsea (including a Capital One Cup win) and also gained wins over both Manchester clubs. With a Wembley appearance and possible Europa League football on the line, they'll be keen to get a home win in the first leg of their Capital One Cup semi-final against Liverpool. Stoke lost at West Brom at the weekend but they are a much stronger team at home having won five of their last six home games in all competitions (including the penalty shoot out win over Chelsea). They certainly have the talent to win this game and have come on a lot since their opening weekend home defeat to Liverpool. Jurgen Klopp's side certainly didn't please him at the weekend as they went down 2-0 at West Ham. He had a right go at his players after the match accusing them of not trying the full 100%. Liverpool aren't an easy side to predict, one minute they can be hammering Southampton 6-1 away, then beating Leicester 1-0 at home but off they go and suffer away defeats at Watford and West Ham. This is an intriguing team but I feel Stoke will be really up for this as they look for a lead to take to Anfield and can get a narrow win.
