Gamweek 41 of the League One season will see Stevenage hosting Bolton Wanderers on Friday afternoon. This is a crucial match in the race for the playoff places, with the hosts currently in seventh spot in the league standings while the visitors are third. After spending a good chunk of the season in the top six, Stevange have hit a major rough patch in recent weeks. However, fourth-placed Peterborough and fifth-placed Barnsley are just three points behind them, and both those sides have played a game less. Bolton Wanderers have recorded nine wins, five draws, and six losses in their away league matches this season, but they are currently on a five-match winless streak on the road, including two draws and three losses. Their last away victory was on February 20 against Cambridge United. Still, the visitors will be confident coming into this fixture, having won each of their last three matches against this opponent and outscoring them 6-3 in that time.
