St. Johnstone will welcome Elgin City to McDiarmid Park on Saturday for their final Scottish League Cup Group Stage game. The Saints have a 100% winning record in this competition, while the visiting Black and Whites have the opposite record, losing all three of their games to sit bottom of the table. What will our prediction be for what looks like a one-sided match on Saturday?
Last season saw St. Johnstone finish bottom of the Scottish Premier League, ensuring they were relegated to the Championship after amassing just 32 points from 38 games. In contrast, City finished fourth in the League Two table, earning 55 points. However, they were eliminated in the playoffs and remain in the division for the new season.
