Braga and Celta Vigo, two teams that rarely face off competitively, are set to meet in a preseason friendly match on Saturday. This will be the seventh straight friendly encounter between the sides. Only one of those matches failed to yield a goal while the other five hit more than 2.5, and that dictates the direction our prediction takes.
Braga are going for a third straight win in this friendly series and a fourth unbeaten outing against Celta. In their meeting last year, the Portuguese side claimed a 3-1 win.
This match marks Braga’s fifth preseason friendly game, and they’ve been prolific too, scoring 10 and only conceding once. The latest was a 5-0 thumping of Vizela.
