In their first FA Cup proper match for the first time since 2018-19, National League side Slough Town will face League Two team Grimsby Town. This first round match will be played at Arbour Park on Sunday. Slough are in their first appearance of this competition proper since 2018-19, when they reached the second round. Recent form hasn’t been enterprising, but the hosts will hope to make the occasion memorable. If they can win here, it would mark the first time since 1990 that they have reached the FA Cup second round in consecutive seasons.
