Slavia Prague will look to get closer to their first Czech Cup since 2022/23 when they host Sigma Olomouc in the quarter-finals on Tuesday. This match at the Eden Arena between the hosting Red and Whites and the visiting Hanaci comes with our prediction of both teams scoring.

Slavia are looking to go deeper in this tournament after losing out at this stage last season. Sigma haven’t made it past the quarters since 2019/20 and have an uphill task ahead.

Slavia won 2-1 at home against Hradec Kralove at the weekend in the domestic league for their eighth win in the last ten competitive matches. They were beaten just once in this sequence, a 2-0 defeat to Sparta Prague.

Playing at home has augmented Slavia’s form, as they have won their last six matches here in a row. Five of those have come by a clean sheet, but Sigma will hope to find something to trouble their hosts here.

Sigma were beaten 2-1 at home by Karvina at the weekend in the league, which complicated their chances of finishing in the top six. They will have to overturn their recent poor run of two defeats and a draw in three competitive matches. Thankfully, they have two wins from their last three away fixtures and could be a handful here.
