On Saturday, Seattle Sounders and Los Angeles FC will look to return to winning ways when they face off in round four of the new season of Major League Soccer at the former’s Lumen Field. Both teams are tied at six points each but fifth place LAFC have a superior goal difference over Sounders in sixth. Seattle Sounders saw their 100% start to the season ended last weekend following a 1-0 loss away to FC Cincinnati. Brian Schmetzer’s men had won their opening two matches, scoring six goals and conceding none. They will be happy to return back home for this round, the venue of their two wins and where they have not lost against LAFC in their last five meetings.

Los Angeles FC also suffered their first loss of the season in their previous match which was against LD Alajuelense in the CONCACAF Champions League. They succumbed 2-1 at home but remain in the competition after a 3-0 win in the first-leg match. Steven Cherundolo’s men still have their 100% start to the league intact and will be keen to preserve it for as long as they can. Their rampant attack has played a key role in their superb start and should once again be their driving force here.
