Matchday three in Group B2 of the UEFA Women's Euro 2025 qualifying will see Scotland take on Israel at Hampden Park on Friday afternoon. The hosts are currently in second place in the group standings, while the visitors are fourth. After a very poor Nations League campaign, which saw them relegated to League B, Scotland have made a positive start to the Euro qualifiers. They are still unbeaten after the first two group-stage games, drawing goalless against Serbia in their first match back in April before beating Slovakia 1-0 on matchday two. However, it remains to be seen if the Scots can continue in this vein, considering their form over the last six months has been well below expectation. Over their last ten matches, the hosts have won only twice while drawing three games and losing six, including the Pinatar Cup final against Finland in February. Scotland won the last two matches between these sides by big margins, though both those games were over a decade ago. 

Meanwhile, Israel have made significant strides forward in recent years and enjoyed a successful Nations League campaign, finishing top of their group in League C with 16 points and unbeaten in their six games. However, against sterner opposition in this competition, they have yet to find their best form. In their first two group-stage matches last month, the Skyblue and Whites conceded back-to-back defeats, losing 2-0 to Slovakia and 4-2 against Serbia a few days later. They are the only team in the group that are still in search of their first points in the competition. Over their last ten games, Israel have managed five wins, one draw, and four losses, while in away games, their record reads as four wins, one draw, and five losses. This is a must-win for the visitors, as another loss will give them a mountain to climb in the second half of the group matches.
