Saarbrucken will be hoping to pull off a huge upset when they play host to Bayern Munich in the second round of the DFB Pokal on Wednesday evening. The hosts beat Karlsruhe 2-1 in the first round of this competition. Saarbrucken have a mountain to climb here. The 3 Liga side come into this match in 15th place in their domestic league, with just 14 points after 11 matches. Their most recent match ended in a 2-1 defeat to Rot-Weiss Essen, which extended their recent record to three matches without a win. The only victory they have managed in their last six came over Arminia Bielefeld at the end of last month. At home, though, Saarbrucken have been better, unbeaten in their last four with two draws and two wins. On paper, this is a mismatch, but the hosts will hope that they can sneak something here, with Bayern likely to make wholesale changes.

The visitors will make several changes in this match but are still massively fancied to claim a big win here.
