After securing key wins in the second round, Roman Safiulin and Jakub Mensik will be facing off next at the Miami Open. It is the first ever match between the two and the winner meets Reilly Opelka or Tomas Machac next. Follow on for our prediction below.
Safiullin, on his third appearance in Miami, is already doing better than in his first two. After seeing off Alexei Popyrin in three sets, he will seek to make the fourth round here for the first time ever.
The Russian has just registered his first back-to-back main draw wins this season, taking his record so far to a shaky 6-7.
Mensik is currently the talk of town after eliminating favorite Jack Draper in the second round. That win, in straight sets, set the tone for Mensik to go on his best campaign at Miami.
