Both of these Americans are in their second Paris Masters quarter-final. Third seed Ben Shelton takes on 12th-seeded Tommy Paul for a place in the last four of this indoor hard court tournament. Paul is yet to lose a set this week and won the only previous match he's had with Shelton on this surface. Our prediction is Paul wins.
Unseeded opposition will be faced in the semi-final. Either lucky loser Nuno Borges or the winner between Jan-Lennard Struff and Casper Ruud.
Ben Shelton was a quarter-finalist here last year. He has had to play two matches so far this week in Paris. After beating Cameron Norrie, he had to come from a set down to defeat unseeded Arthur Rinderknech in the last 16. Shelton has an 8-3 record on this surface in 2026 (as has his opponent), winning the title in Dallas.
