It's not been a good week for Roma and it could get worse. They begin this final match of the Serie A season in sixth and host 17th placed Spezia. Wednesday saw Roma lose the Europa League Final and Jose Mourinho is not a happy man. Their sixth place takes them into the Europa League next season. However, they are only a point clear of seventh placed Juventus. Dropping to seventh would see them in the Conference League next season. Roma aren't in good form at present with just one win in their last ten matches. That win was in the Europa League and their last seven Serie A games have produced just four draws and three losses.

It's between Spezia and Verona for the final relegation place. Both clubs have the same number of points but Spezia are ahead on head-to-head results. Therefore, they will survive if they match Verona's result at Milan. Spezia were in the bottom three but have managed to escape it in recent games. Four points from three games has done the trick for them. However, they failed to score in their last two matches. They have only won two of their last 21 league games. Both those wins came at home against Inter and AC Milan. Away form is poor though with two wins, 11 defeats and only 12 goals scored. 11 away league games have been played without a win.
