Roma host Bologna with the away side a place and four points clear of their opponents. The home side are fifth in Serie A and that will take them into the Champions League next season as Italy are being given an extra place. They are three points clear of sixth-placed Lazio but have a couple of games in hand. Thursday saw them beat Milan to reach the last four of the Europa League where they will face Bayer Leverkusen. Roma are unbeaten in their last seven games in Serie A and kept a clean sheet in each of the last three. Home form is strong with their last three league matches all being won. That makes it 11 wins in 16 home league fixtures this season with only two defeats. 

Bologna are having an excellent season and a Champions League place next season looks extremely likely. They are seven points clear of sixth place and have a game in hand. Their last two matches have both ended in goalless draws and they've gone four matches without conceding. Only one of their last 12 games in Serie A has been lost and that was to champions Inter. On their travels, Bologna are unbeaten in their last five matches. Only four of their 15 away matches in Serie A have been won this season but eight have ended level with just three defeats.
