Ricky Evans and Man Lok Leung will meet in the evening session on Day 2 at the 2026 PDC World Darts Championship on Friday. The winner of this match between Rapid Ricky and The Challenger will meet either James Wade or Ryusei Azemoto in the second round. Let’s get into the match prediction.
Fan favourite Ricky Evans will be stepping out for his eighth consecutive Ally Pally appearance this week and has reached the second round and beyond in each of the last six editions.
Rapid Ricky had a standout performance last month at the Grand Slam of Darts, where he reached the quarter-final of the competition by pulling off a 10-9 comeback victory over Luke Woodhouse.
Since then, Evans suffered a first-round elimination at the Players Championship final on November 21. His record stands at 5-5 in his last 10 matches in all competitions.
Meanwhile, Man Lok Leung will be making his second appearance at the World Championships. On his debut in 2024, he defeated Gian van Veen in the first round before losing to Gabriel Clemens in the second.
In 2025, The Challenger has won two PDC Asian Tour titles (events 7 and 15). He also represented Hong Kong at the World Cup of Darts and reached the quarter-final.
Leung’s last televised appearance was at the Bahrain Darts Masters, where he was defeated 6-3 by Luke Littler.
