Rangers host Napoli, as they look to recover from their back-to-back demolitions. It will be hard to do however, against a flying Napoli who have scored five goals in their last two games.

Rangers - Napoli: Form Analysis
Rangers are benefiting from a week's rest, as the entire nation is mourning the death of beloved Queen Elizabeth II, which has meant the postponing of all professional football in Great Britain. They frankly needed the break. Back-to-back 4-0 losses against bitter rivals Celtic and Ajax have put coach Giovanni Van Brockhost in the hot seat. It was also the fourth time they haven't won in their last seven, which means they are already five points behind reigning champions Celtic. Defensively, it does not make for a good reading for the Glasgow men. Nine goals conceded in their last three games is a sign of trouble for Rangers, who have nevertheless won eleven of their last thirteen home games. Napoli are in imperious form. Raspadori's late goal ensured another three points for the Napolitans, who are top of the Serie A, albeit having played a game more. They are also impressive in their opening Champions League game, thrashing Liverpool 4-1, in a game where they had the chances to score double that. Napoli are now unbeaten in their last seventeen games, and they will rejoice an away affair, having lost just once in their last seventeen on the road. This will be the first time they are encountering Ajax for a competitive game.
The defensive duo of Sands and Goldson is definitely in need of a breather, having conceded eight goals in their last two games. New signing Antonio Colak has been a revelation in the front though, having already scored seven goals in his last nine appearances. Rangers will be without Lawrence and Helander for this one. The departure of key men Milik, Insigne and Mertens in the summer has made way for an exciting array of talent at Napoli. Georgian ace Kvaratshselia or “Kvaradona” has already taken Italian football by storm, having scored four times in his last seven games. Gio Simeone also scored on his European debut in midweek and should also be in great confidence ahead of this one.
Rangers - Napoli Key Points
Rangers have conceded nine goals in their last three games
Rangers have scored in their last twenty-four home games
Two of Rangers’ last three home games have seen both teams score
Three of Napoli’s last four away games have seen both teams score
Napoli have scored fourteen goals in their last five away games
Rangers will enter the Ibrox with a point to prove, and while Napoli have a head start, Rangers at home on a European night deserve a bit more respect, added to the week's rest they will have due to the postponement of their weekend game. Backing both teams to score is the smart play in this one.
