Rangers play Hearts in the second of the two Scottish Cup semi-final ties this weekend. It has been a tough month or so for boss Philippe Clement. Rangers have lost two and drawn two of their last five in the Scottish Premier League, as well as being eliminated from Europe. Hearts landed their second victory in successive weeks with a 4-2 win over Livingston at the weekend. All six goals came in the first half in what was an enthralling 45-minutes. Manager Steven Naismith has steered his team well through the Scottish Cup, although they were pushed by Spartans in their opening game, earning a 2-1 win away from home. Airdrieonians were dispatched 4-1 in another away win in the next round and then they completed a hat-trick of away victories with a 1-0 win over Greenock Morton in the quarter-finals. They’ll start the semi-final against Rangers as the big underdogs with bookmakers.
