The Old Firm meet in the quarter-finals of the Scottish Cup. Rangers are the hosts as they attempt to reach the last four with a victory over Celtic. Can the Gers get a home win? Read our match prediction below.
Rangers last won the Scottish Cup in 2022 and that ended a long wait since 2009 to lift the trophy. After a slow start to this season, the Light Blues have moved up the Scottish Premiership table and could yet be crowned champions. This weekend is all about the cup and trying to get another win over their Glasgow rivals. This competition may well be their best chance of silverware this season.
The same applies to Celtic who have already been beaten in the Scottish League Cup final this year. They have won the Scottish Cup 42 times (eight more than Rangers) and played in each of the last three finals, losing to Aberdeen last season.
Extra time was needed to beat Dundee in the last round. Another spell of extra time may well be needed this weekend. Winning at Ibrox and reaching the last four would put a massive smile on any Celtic fans face.

Rangers - Celtic: Form Analysis
It's been a strange season for Rangers but will it end with the Teddy Bears winning the Scottish Cup? They might even win the Scottish Premiership and that was not being thought of when they made a poor start to the season and sacked their head coach.
They come into this match unbeaten in their last seven games since losing to Porto in the Europa League. Against Scottish sides, Rangers have gone 15 games without a loss, last being beaten by leaders Hearts last December.
A much tougher task for Rangers this weekend.
Their last two matches have both ended level, including a home game against Celtic last weekend. Three of their last four matches have seen both teams score. That's not been the case so far in this season's Scottish Cup with 13 goals put past Anan and Queen's Park without reply.
Celtic have also had their struggles this season and it's been turmoil off the pitch with managerial changes. The Celts are unbeaten in their last three matches but while they score on a regular basis, keeping clean sheets is not a strength of theirs.
Seven of the last eight games played by the Bhoys have seen both teams get on the scoresheet. Away form is good with a run of eight games without defeat. Three of their last five games against Rangers have seen both teams score and the last three at Ibrox have all been drawn.

Rangers & Celtic Squad Analysis
Rangers love nothing more than beating Celtic and that will be their aim this weekend. For the second successive Sunday the Gers are hosting Celtic, this time with a place in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup being the prize.
They will be missing the trio of Connor Barron, Derek Cornelius and Bailey Rice for this cup tie. Other than that, their coach Danny Rohil has a fit and suspension-free squad to choose from. Rangers are conceding a lot of goals of late and Nasser Djiga could come into the side to shore up the leaky defence.
Tavernier could return.
James Tavernier is also being tipped to start this Scottish Cup match on Sunday, possiby replacing Dujon Sterling. He gave away the penalty that led to Celtic grabbing a late equalizer last Sunday.
There are no replays in the Scottish Cup quarter-finals so we will definitely see a winner this weekend. Celtic have all the work to do to achieve that with it being five games without a win against Rangers at Ibrox.
They have Auston Trusty available for this game as his suspension does not apply to this cup competition. The Hoops have a concern over Dane Murray who was injured against Aberdeen. Kieran Tierney is also on the doubtful list for this cup tie.
Wednesday's key victory at Aberdeen will have boosted Celtic's confidence. Man of the match in that game was Benjamin Arthur and he could well be in the starting line-up on Sunday. Will Kasper Schjmeihel be in goal for Celtic? He's missed the last two games but could be on the bench this weekend
