Scorching-hot league leaders PSG take to the field to host ninth-place Nantes to close out Saturday’s Ligue 1 action. Despite being reduced to 10-men in the first 10 minutes of play due to a Donnarumma red card, the Parisians were still able to grind out a 2-0 away victory. The win was the seventh in a row in Ligue 1 for PSG who are also riding a nine game league unbeaten run. The former Nantes player, now lining up on the touchline as its manager, led Les Canaris to a 1-0 home victory over second-place Nice last weekend. It was a fine performance from the team who stood firm at the back and withstood the Nice attack despite holding just 38% of the possession. They’ll now face a monumental challenge if they are to be the ones to put a stop to PSG’s Ligue 1 winning streak. Nantes have broken into the top half with the win over Nice, pulling their total up to 18 points and placing them six points off the top five.
