A fascinating Championship clash for a prediction on Saturday afternoon as West Brom heads to Preston. The Baggies have been picking up points on a consistent basis and sit 7th while the hosts are 19th coming into this match.

A scoreless draw away at Stoke made it eight games without a win for Preston. Five of those have come at home, including four in the league. Inconsistency has plagued them at both ends of the pitch. Capable of strong displays, they have also had some abject ones.

West Brom have been the draw specialists in the Championship so far. Five at home and four on the road have seen a regular accumulation of points to keep them in contention for the playoffs. 

They have only managed a single win in their last 11 games, a 2-1 victory at Hull. Generally, West Brom has kept things tight with four scoreless draws in their last seven matches. Preston have a pair of those themselves in their last four.
