Preston North End will welcome Stoke to Deepdale this weekend for a Championship match. The Lilywhites are 14th and The Potters are 18th ahead of our prediction.

It's been a rough season for Preston, though the worst of their play has come on the road. That was apparent once more on Wednesday night when they lost at Derby. Home has been a happier hunting ground for them, losing just twice at Deepdale all season.

They have been held to 10 draws at home though, more than any other team in the division. Only Blackpool and Fleetwood in the top four leagues have more. A loss at home to Aston Villa in the FA Cup ended a 15-game unbeaten run at home in all competitions. 

Stoke have been similar with their better form coming at home. They have struggled on the road since winning at Hull on February 1, the team with the fewest home wins in the division.

That is their only success in their last 13 on the road in all competitions, though they have drawn at Burnley and West Brom so are capable enough on their day.
