Cardiff City are in danger of being relegated to League One. They are 22nd in the Championship and on Tuesday have a vital away game at 14th-placed Preston North End. Can the Bluebirds get only their third away league win of the season. Here's our match prediction.

Preston North End are seven points above the relegation zone but 12 behind the promotion play-offs. Of their 40 league games this season, 18 have ended level. The weekend saw them lead at home against Stoke City but ended up drawing 1-1.

They have now gone three league and cup games without a win. Just one of their last nine games in the Championship has been won but five of them were drawn. Preston are unbeaten in their last 13 home league games but nine were drawn.

Cardiff City are only in the bottom three on goal difference. They also drew their most recent game with a 0-0 draw at QPR. That was their 14th league draw of the season and the tenth on the road. Only two away league games played this season have been won with eight lost.
