They have won each of the nine competitive meetings they have had with Portimonense. On the other hand, the visiting side has so far managed one win in the season. They beat Maritimo 2-1 three match days ago, adding to the one point registered in the season opener against Pacos de Ferreira. Heading to this game, they fell 2-1 to Santa Clara, making it four losses in their last five matches and the second time in four matches that they conceded two goals. Portimonense have failed to score in three of their last five matches and with just three wins in the last 11 league matches, they will carry the underdogs’ feel going to this clash. They have lost seven of the last 11 in the league and it has not been better away from home, with just two wins in 19 games.
