Polokwane City will be looking to get a hold of their season when they host AmaZulu in their next PSL game. The two sides face off on the back of shaky starts, with Polokwane 14th and AmaZulu seventh in the standings. From their opening five matches, Polokwane have managed just six points and they aren’t coming here in great shape. Their last match ended in a 2-0 defeat at home to Mamelodi Sundowns. AmaZulu had a slow start to the season but are getting their footing in. After three straight games without a win, they will troop to this one on two straight wins. On their last outing, they beat CapeTown City 3-2. They had to work for it though, coming from -1 down with two stoppage time goals to win it. For the second time in the season they conceded more than a goal but they’ve done well defensively. In three of their five matches, AmaZulu have kept clean sheets. The win over Cape Town City built on the earlier 1-0 win over TS Galaxy. In their last meeting with Polokwane, their 1-0 win ended a run of five winless matches against their hosts.
