The Phoenix Suns will play host to the Los Angeles Clippers at the Footprint Center in the NBA on Thursday night. The Suns (3-5) are 10th in the Western Conference, while the Clippers (3-4) are in ninth place. Let’s get into the match prediction!

After a major overhaul during the offseason, the Phoenix Suns have struggled to settle into a groove this term and suffered their fifth loss in eight, 118-107 to the Warriors on Tuesday. 

With KD and Bradley Beal now gone, Devin Booker will have to lead the Suns. He is averaging 31 PPG, but it is becoming increasingly evident that there is a major lack of quality around him. 

On a more positive note, all three of Phoenix’s wins this season have come at home, and they also won both home games against this opponent last season. 

Meanwhile, the Clippers were too good for the Suns when they met in Los Angeles last month, but they have only won one game since then and enter this one following a 126-107 hiding from OKC. 

There is a case to be made that the Clippers have too many players who are past their prime. They have the oldest average roster age in the NBA this season, and that showed against the Thunder last time out. 

The visitors will also be missing a handful of their best players through injury for this match, including Kawhi Leonard, James Harden and Jordan Miller.
