Sport loves a great comeback and just three years after a knife attack nearly ended her career, Petra Kvitova is one match away from her first Australian Open final. She hasn't made it to a Grand Slam final since her win at Wimbledon in 2014.  Kvitova has only ever reached two Grand Slam finals, both when winning at Wimbledon and this is only the second time she's been in a final away from her English triumphs. Not since 2012 has she reached the last four at the Australian Open and this is her first time past the third round since then. Her form has been impressive in this tournament, not just the fact she hasn't dropped a set but the most games she has lost in a match is five.

Kvitova faces American Danielle Collins who is ranked 35th in the world. It's been a breakthrough fortnight for her as previously she'd never got past the first round of a Grand Slam. This is the first time she's even managed to make the main draw of this tournament having lost in the third qualifying round last year. Collins nearly didn't get past the first round this year as she went a set down to 14th seed Julia Gorges and had to go to a tie-break in the second set. It's been easier since then with a 6-0 6-2 win over second seed Angelique Kerber in the fourth round. It waa another struggle in the quarter final as she again had to come from a set down to beat unseeded Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova.  The pair met a few weeks ago in the Brisbane tournament with Kvitova winning in straight sets. She's in great form now and the tip here is for Kvitova to get the win.
