Two League One clubs will battle it out to reach the last 16 of the Carabao Cup. Peterborough are 21st in League One, three places below the visitors Barnsley. Looking at the recent statistics for both clubs, a bet on BTTS is our prediction for this match.
Both Peterborough and Barnsley last reached round four of the Carabao Cup 17 years ago. The Posh will be glad to have a home draw, but were in great form in the last round as they won 5-1 at Championship club Watford. Home league form has seen them win one, draw one and lose the other. Two of the three saw both teams score.
They are in the relegation zone at present, but only on goal difference.
Barnsley have made it to the third round with wins over Crewe and Wigan. Both teams scored in each of those two cup ties.
