Pau go into the final weekend of Ligue 2 still not safe from relegation. They are 15th in the table and host Caen who are in fifth place. The home side are a point clear of the relegation zone and know a win will see them avoid the drop. Rodez, Laval and Dijon could all overtake Pau on the final day of the Ligue 2 season. One worry that Les Maynats have is that if it went down to goal difference, then they currently have the worst of the four sides. Pau had a big win in their last match when winning 3-2 at Rodez to go above them in the table. That was a much needed win for 'Les Bernais' after a run of just a single point from four Ligue 2 fixtures. Pau have serious defensive problems with 16 goals conceded in their last five matches. Their last two at home have both been lost with each of the last four seeing both teams get on the scoresheet.

Caen are in fifth but could go above Bastia into fourth even if only drawing this match. They are a point behind Bastia who have a tough away game at second placed Metz for their final fixture. Caen are unbeaten in their last three matches but were held to a draw in their most recent game. They did well to get a point at home to St Etienne after going 2-0 down. Caen needed to score in the 83rd and 85th minutes to rescue a point. They are in good scoring form though with nine goals in their last three fixtures. Away form will need to be improved on next season as only five Ligue 2 games have been won this term. A bet on both teams to score is our prediction for this match.
