Parma vs Spal Prediction & Betting Tips - Serie B

Fifth placed Parma will be confident of a home win over Spal who are 17th in Serie B. The home side are currently in the play-off quarter final qualification positions but only a point behind fourth. Finishing in that position would mean entry into the play-off semi-finals. Parma have won seven of their league games this season, drawing five and also losing five. Current form is a bit patchy with only one win in their last four Serie B matches. Home form has seen Parma win five of their nine league games but lose three times. That includes the last two home league fixtures with defeats by Modena and Benevento. They returned to form in their last match though with a 2-0 win at Brescia. Before the two home losses, they had won the previous five played in Parma.

Spal are in relegation trouble and are currently in the play-out positions. They are only one point above the automatic relegation places so could do with a good run of form. That's not what is happening at present though with only two points earned from their last five league fixtures. Only three league games have been won by Spal this season but eight have been drawn with six losses. Their last two league games have both ended level. Spal are yet to win an away game in Serie B this season. Six of their eight away league matches have ended in draws with a couple of defeats. They won't be geting many away wins when the fact is their last six away league fixtures have seen them fail to score. Back Parma to get the win here. It may well be with under 2.5 goals scored in the match.
