Even before they start their domestic season officially, Omonia have had a brilliant run. They are coming into this game with four straight wins having started the Conference League from the 2nd qualification round.

Their last two matches recorded clean sheets as Omonia claimed a 3-0 aggregate win against Fehervar in the 3rd qualification round. The hosts take into this game a good scoring run too, having netted eight times in their four matches so far.

Their good start in the Conference League extends their run in the competition to seven wins in eight matches.

Zira have already started their domestic season and are balancing well with their Conference League assignments. They advanced here after beating Osijek on penalties following a 3-3 draw in the last round.

The visitors started off their season in the Europa League but their quest was ended at the first attempt, by Sheriff Tiraspol. After a 2-1 defeat, Zira went on a five-match unbeaten run. The latest of that streak was their 2-2 draw with Osijek in the last round.

Their last loss away from home was in their domestic cup final, against giants Qarabag at the close of last season. This season Zira have three wins and a draw in their four away matches.

While they look impressive, they've struggled a bit in the Conference League. Their six matches in the competition produced only two wins.
