Novak Djokovic is the favourite to win this tournament but might not have enjoyed the shock defeat for Roger Federer on Sunday night. That could mean he finishes second in his group and if Novak wins his group, they'll face each other in the semi-finals. That's what could happen next Saturday but first he has to come top of his group and begins with a match against John Isner. Djokovic has a hugely successful year and is back at number one in the world. He has won four of his last six tournaments including two Grand Slams but did lose to Karen Khachinov in the final of the Paris Masters recently. He has reached the final of this tournament the last five times he's competed in it and won four of those finals. His form is good against John Isner having beaten him in their last five meetings, though this is the first since 2015.
Isner has had a successful 2018 and importantly for him he's been going deep into Grand Slam tournaments which hadn't previously been the case. He has only two of ten matches against Djokovic and last beat him five years. Since reaching the quarter finals of the US Open, months after his semi-final appearance at Wimbledon, his form has dipped. Isner did reach the last four of the Stockholm Open but lost to world number 145 Ernests Gulbis. He hasn't beaten a top sixteen ranked player since a win over Juan Martin Del Potro in March and the tip here is for under 22.5 games to be played in this match.
