Nottingham Forest vs Leicester Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

Nottingham Forest will welcome Leicester City to the City Ground on Saturday evening after a mixed bag of performances over the last couple of weeks for both sides in the cup competitions. The hosts were knocked out of the FA cup against a rampant Blackpool side but managed to come out on the right side of a difficult fixture against Wolves, which saw them move to the semi-final of the EFL Cup. They come into this match in 15th place in the league, with 17 points in 18 matches, following a crucial 1-0 win over Southampton in their last league fixture. Their major issue has been in defense, where they've shipped the league-highest 34 goals already this season. However, Nottingham has been good at home in recent weeks, unbeaten in their last five at The City Ground, and will fancy extending that run against a Leicester side that has been poor on the road this season. 

Leicester's inconsistency this season was evident once again last week, narrowly winning their third-round FA Cup tie over Gillingham before slumping to a 2-0 defeat to Newcastle three days later in the EFL Cup quarter-final. Following their 1-0 loss to Fulham in their last league match, Leicester has found themselves in 13th place, ahead of their opponents and Leeds in 14th place only by goal difference. Leicester was victorious in the last meeting between these sides, coming away with a 4-0 win at the King Power in October, but they will not have it all their own way this time around. Away from the King Power, Leicester has only managed three wins in nine matches, while the other six matches have all ended in defeat. The visitors may have as many as seven injury concerns for this match, most notably that of James Maddison, who is the side's top scorer and most dangerous player this season. If Maddison doesn't make it back in time, this could be a difficult match for Leicester to come away from with all three points.
