An intriguing mid-table battle between Norwich and Coventry will be played out at Carrow Road this Saturday. This Championship match between the 11th-placed Canaries and the 14th-placed Sky Blues comes with our prediction of the home team avoiding a defeat.

Ahead of this round, Norwich has 33 points from 25 matches and is six behind top-six places. The Canaries defeated Luton 1-0 on New Year’s Day, making it seven points from their last three league matches. This has breathed life into their campaign after four matches before Christmas landed just one point.

They have been impressive at this venue regardless, as Norwich won three and drew one of their last five league matches played here. The visitors have 29 points from their 25 matches, starting this round four points behind their hosts.

Coventry couldn’t take advantage of playing nearly an entire half with an extra player, only drawing 1-1 against Cardiff on New Year’s Day. That still kept Frank Lampard’s side unbeaten in three matches, landing them five points.
