Niko Springer is making his second appearance at the World Championships this year. His debut ended in the first round, where he lost to Scott Williams 3-1.

Comito’s season was spent mainly on the Australian domestic circuit, though he failed to claim any titles. He did not feature in any PC, European, or World Series tours in 2025.
The Waterboy lost to Gerwyn Price in the first round of the Australian Darts Masters in August and has lost each of his last five ProTour matches.
