Nice will welcome Reims on Sunday seeking to bounce back to winning ways in the French Ligue 1. Six points separate the two sides heading into this matchday 15 encounter with Nice in second having the advantage over Reims in fifth. Nice suffered their first loss of the campaign last time out and will be eager to get right back on the horse. Francesco Farioli’s men were defeated 1-0 by Nantes to see their impressive 100% record come to an end. The loss saw them drop four points off the pace. Another loss could not only extend the gap with leaders PSG but could see them drop down to fourth. Nice have won eight matches but what has been most impressive has been their robust defence. Les Aiglons have conceded just five goals and have kept an amazing 10 clean sheets.

Reims do not possess a mean defence like that of Nice but they have fared better offensively than their soon-to-be hosts. They are one of only three teams to have scored at least 20 league goals thus far. Will Still’s men will bank on themselves to be able to break down Nice’s rearguard. Reims have amassed 23 points. A sixth loss of the season could see them tumble outside the European places and end the round in eighth place. Les rouges et blancs ended a two-game losing run last time out by defeating Strasbourg 2-1 at home. Reims haven’t won against Nice since a 1-0 away success back in 2018.
