Second placed Nice bid to get back into winning ways. They have a great chance to do so as they host Clermont who are bottom of Ligue 1. The home side have lost thir last two league games with defeats inflicted by Monaco and Lyon. They remain second in the table but only a point clear of fifth place and 14 adrift of leaders PSG. Only one out of 11 home league games have been lost by Nice this season and just five goals conceded. Eight of their last 10 home league matches has seen them keep a clean sheet. The reverse fixture against Clermont was played in October and won by Nice 1-0.

Clermont are in desperate trouble at the bottom of the table. They are six points from safety but have an inferior goal difference.
