The New York Knicks have enjoyed three days of rest and will use this opportunity to maintain their winning run in the NBA. This also marks their fourth match of a seven-game homestand. 

In their recent match, they were pitted against the Minnesota Timberwolves and lived up to expectations in a 137-114 home victory. Ongugua Anunoby and Jalen Brunson both combined for 48 points.

The Knicks enter this match brimming with confidence as they are riding a three-match winning streak. Before this, they had dropped three games.

The Brooklyn Nets still find themselves in a dire situation when it comes to their below-par performance. It'll be an arduous task as they attempt to return to the win column. 

The Nets are now 1-8 on the season after a 125-107 home defeat against the Detroit Pistons in an NBA Cup game. Michael Porter had 28 points as the team shot 42.5% from the field.

Nothing much can be expected from them in this one, especially on the road, where they've lost three of their last four matches. Surprisingly, they've outperformed the Knicks, who have the worst away record.
