Nashville are hosting Houston Dynamo at the Geodis Park, being in a tremendous run of form. The hosts emerged as victors of the League Cup in their last encounter, narrowly edging out Club America on penalties. Nashville are also fourth in the Western Conference standings, and currently on a run of five straight victories. They have also been extremely prolific of late, having managed to put the ball in the net nineteen times in their last seven games. When it comes to their record against the Houston outfit, they have only played each other three times, with the record being 1-1-1 and two of those games featuring both teams scoring. 

Houston have surely had a campaign to forget this season. They are currently in the penultimate place of their conference, having the joint-worst defence in the standings and the fourth worst defence. Their recent form has been poor as well, having picked up a mere two victories in their last eleven showings. If that was not enough, Houston have been dismal on the road this season. They have managed to win a solitary game in twelve, losing ten of those. In addition, they have conceded more than once in ten of those, although to their credit they have managed to score in nine of their last ten.
