Winless in the Ligue 1 season so far, Nantes will have their task cut out against the unbeaten Marseille this weekend. This matchday four fixture will be played at Stade de la beaujoire Louis Fonteneau with the hosts 16th with one point and the visitors 2nd with seven points. Nantes season has been poor so far, with just a point from their three league games. They started with 2-1 loss to Toulouse followed by a 2-0 loss to Lille. Yet, their 3-3 draw with leaders Monaco may have given them confidence of tripping another top-half club. Easier said than done though, as Nantes continue to struggle with their home form having lost three of their last five home league matches.

Marseille are a complete contrast to their hosts and are unbeaten in the league so far. They started with a 2-1 win over Reims followed by a 2-2 draw at Metz. The visitors came roaring back to form with a 2-0 win over Brest last weekend. With Nantes having already stopped Monaco, Marseille will not be taking their opponents lightly. Their away form is slightly below par as well with the visitors losing three and drawing one of their last four away league matches. That could prompt them to look back at the history books for inspiration as Marseille have won their last two away league matches against Nantes.
