Motherwell host Celtic at Fir Park on Sunday at lunchtime (12pm kick off) with the home side having won three and drawn one of their last four home games in all competitions. Stuart Kettlewell's team remain 7th in the Scottish Premiership following last weekend's 2-0 defeat at Hearts, their first league defeat in seven games. Despite having a relatively modest home record of 4 wins, 4 draws and 5 defeats, ranking them 8th in the Premiership, they have scored 24 goals at home this season (only Rangers and Celtic have scored more) but they have also conceded a league low of 22 goals in their 13 home games. A fact which will give Celtic fans belief that their team will be able to grab a goal or two in the game. 77% of Motherwell's home games have seen both teams score, which adds further weight to the belief that there should be goals here. 

Celtic's form away from home is even better than their home form, with just one defeat all season and two draws, with the Hoops winning the other 10 of their fixtures on the road. They have scored a league leading 29 goals away from home and conceded 8, the second best defensive record in the division. Since losing twice in successive games at Kilmarnock and then at home to Hearts in December, the Celts have won six and drawn two of their last eight games in the Premiership. A solid record but one that has seen them overhauled at the top of the table by Rangers. Goals have been a little tougher to come by for Celtic in the last few games with just five goals scored in them and 3 conceded. But they should be confident of finding the net against today's opponents.
