Moroka Swallows will hope to continue their good run of form in the PSL when they play host to Kaizer Chiefs on Sunday afternoon. The hosts are currently in sixth place in the league standings, while the visitors are tenth. Swallows have been very impressive so far this season. They have earned 18 points from their first 10 matches and trail the top three sides in the league by just four points. The hosts played out a 0-0 draw away to Polokwane City before the international break. That result extended their recent unbeaten run in the league to five matches, including three wins and two draws. Notably, Swallows kept four clean sheets in those five games. The hosts have taken ten points from a possible 18 at home this season and are unbeaten in their last three ahead of this one. Swallows won the last meeting between these sides 2-1 and are the bookmakers’ favourite in this match. 

In contrast, Kaizer Chiefs have struggled for any type of consistency this season. They have managed just 14 points after 12 games and are five points above Richards Bay in the relegation playoff spot. October proved to be a very poor month for AmaKhosi, as they lost both league matches and were knocked out of the League Cup by AmaZulu. Following their 1-0 loss to Soweto rivals Orlando Pirates before the international break, the Glamour Boys have now lost three of their last four league games. The only win in that time was a far from convincing 3-2 victory over bottom-of-the-log Cape Town Spurs. Chiefs have also lost four of their five away matches this term, and another defeat here could see them drop as low as 13th if results do not go in their favour.
