Ligue 1 leaders Nice can go four points clear at the top with a win at 13th placed Montpellier. Nice beat Rennes 2-0 at home to remain the only unbeaten side in Ligue 1 this season. That was the sixth consecutive league fixture in which they have kept a clean sheet. The last team to score against them in Ligue 1 were second-placed PSG on September 15. The Eaglets have only conceded four goals in their 11 league games and and half of those came in that PSG match. Away form for 'The Gym' has been impressive this season with four of their five Ligue 1 games on the road being won. The only draw came against Lorient and four in a row have been won by them since. They aren't the most prolific goalscorers though. Three were put past PSG but only in three matches have Nice scored more than once.

Montpellier are having a tough run of fixtures at present. Last week they went to second-placed PSG and lost 3-0, now they host the league leaders.They are only a point above the Ligue 1 relegation zone but have played a game less than their rivals. Current form is mixed with two wins and a couple of defeats in their last four league games. The two wins came against Toulouse and Lorient who are both below them in the table and struggling for wins. They only earned two points from their first three home league games before defeating Toulouse 3-0. Nice are in top form and so difficult to score against, we tip them to win this match.
