An out-of-form Montpellier will play host to Lille at the Stade de la Mosson in a Ligue 1 clash scheduled for Sunday. A poor run has left Montpellier 12th in the standings, with 18 points from 18 games while Lille are fifth on 31 points. The hosts are looking to put some daylight between themselves and relegation. Montpellier returned to winning ways last time out after thrashing fourth-tier side Feignies-Aulnoye 4-0 in the Coupe de France. The four-time French champions advanced to the quarter-finals of the Coupe de France with a 1-0 win over Racing last time out. They will however need to correct their Ligue 1 form that has seen them record two victories in their last five games. Lille will draw inspiration from their impeccable form against their Sunday opponents. Another positive heading into this clash is the confirmation that Leny Yoro will not be leaving, after being linked with Manchester United.
