Third placed Monaco look to strengthen their chances of qualifying for next season's Champions League. They host Toulouse who are struggling down in 14th place in Ligue 1. Monaco are a point behind second placed Nice but 11 adrift of league leaders PSG. The top four go into the Champions League and Monaco are currently three points clear of Lille who are fifth. Their most recent league game saw them get a vital 3-2 win at Nice, leading three times in that game. That was a much-needed win as they had failed to win their last three games, including being knocked out of the French Cup by Rouen. Home form has seen them win six of their ten games in Ligue 1 with three being lost. Two of their last three at home have ended in defeat so they really need a win this weekend.

Toulouse are only two places and one point above the relegation zone. Four of their last five games have ended in defeat and like their opponents also lost at Rouen in the French Cup. That hurt Toulouse as they were the cup holders. Thursday saw them beaten 2-1 at Benfica in the Europa League conceding two penalties and a 98th minute winner. Toulouse have won only three of their last 15 league fixtures, two against Meetz who are in the bottom three. Away form has produced three league wins but the last two have both been won but against sides in poor form. We tip Monaco to win this match.
