Tuesday will see compatriots Michael van Gerwen and Dirk van Duijvenbode facing off in Round 2 at the 2026 World Matchplay. MVG beat the Titan in their last encounter in May, and our prediction is that he will come out on top in this one as well.
Michael van Gerwen began his quest to win the World Matchplay title for a fourth time with a solid 10-6 victory over Andrew Gilding in the opening round of the competition on Sunday.
