The Orlando Magic will be looking to maintain their winning start to the NBA season when they head to the FedEx Forum to face the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday morning. The Grizz are 1-1 for the season while the Magic are 2-0 after the first two games. Check out our match prediction below.
The Memphis Grizzlies kicked off the season with a solid showing to edge the Utah Jazz in their first match but were no match in their trip to Houston where they lost to the Rockets 128-108.
Still, the Grizz look a much better team than they were last season, mainly due to Ja Morant being available, and the All-Star put up 24 points last time out while Desmond Bane added 17.
Memphis scored an incredible 65 points in the first half against the Rockets, but only 43 in the second period, which is something they will have to improve to challenge Orlando in this one.
Meanwhile, the Magic have shot out the gate this season and are now gunning a third win on the bounce after extinguishing the Heat 116-97 and outscoring the Nets 116-101 last night.
Franz Wagner was a colossus against Brooklyn, putting up 29 points, six rebounds and five assists, while Paolo Banchero chipped in with 15 points.
While the Magic are known for their impressive defence, they showed tremendous attacking prowess last night, scoring 67 points in the second half to secure the double-digit victory.
