With the international break now complete, the A-League will resume this weekend with Melbourne Victory playing host to Adelaide United at AAMI Park on Saturday. The Big V are in fifth place, while the Reds are in sixth. Let’s get into the match prediction!
Melbourne Victory dropped a place in the league standings ahead of the international break when they suffered a 4-2 loss on the road to Western Sydney Wanderers, who moved up to third place as a result.
That defeat ended the Big V’s four-match unbeaten run and was the sixth time they conceded two or more goals in their last 11 league games since early January.
However, the hosts have been very good at home this season, conceding just one defeat to date, while scoring two or more goals in eight of their 10 matches at AAMI Park.
